Bujeti has made Brain, its agentic finance tool, available to every business on the platform after a two-week private beta.
The company, founded by Cossi Achille Arouko and Samy Chiba, sells corporate cards, vendor payments, budgets, invoicing, accounts, tax, and payroll. More than 2,000 finance professionals in Nigeria and Kenya use it. Arouko was a technical lead at Paystack before starting the company. Bujeti was in Y Combinator’s Winter 2023 batch and later raised $2.5 million in seed.
Brain has four agents. Fetch and Chaser entered private beta on 16 September. Watchdog and Concierge were opened to enterprise customers, then to everyone on 30 September. Bujeti says early tests of Chaser recovered 3.2 times more on the hardest collections than a manual team. It is now extending Chaser to debt and loan collection, and building an MCP so assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT can query a company’s finance data under permissions.
African finance teams still close the month in spreadsheets and WhatsApp threads. An agent that chases an invoice is less glamorous than an agent that writes code. It is also closer to where the hours actually go.
